For the first time ever, I forgot to pay the jeepney.

It was last Thursday, I was so happy because Sam was riding the same jeepney I picked. We were talking stuffs about college, how different it was from our high school life and of course, the never ending yearbook talk. The final draft is already with Mrs. Asuncion, so we may able to get the yearbook by November or December. Much earlier than any other batch.

As she was about to get off, I felt really sleepy. I only got 5 hours of sleep. Maybe I dozed off for a while. When a guy pulled the string to signal the stop of the jeepney, I immediately followed the other passengers out. I was walking towards the station when I realized something, “Wait, parang may nakalimutan ako. HINDI AKO NAGBAYAD!” It was really funny because I was sooooooo guilty. It was a good thing I found Von at the platform, I bursted with mixed emotions while I was telling him what happened. Until I arrived in UST, I was still guilty. Thinking how that 6 pesos could have helped him with a 1 litre of gasoline.

Coincidence or not, it was our recollection was on that day. I was so relieved that I could confess my first ever 123.

Whoever you are, I am really sorry. I promise to pay you when I ride your jeepney again.

Tuesday: I hate Math but I love ICS1. Srsly!

HAHA. MATH, AS USUAL, WAS ASDFGHJKL! =)) I’m hating her to the core. Friggin’ test.

The worst schedule we had was Wednesday. A sudden change of subjects and time allotment. Our first exam was supposed to start 8 AM but Sir Allan was already in our room 7:30. We told him that no one informed us that the schedule changed. FTW. Even though it was changed, imagine if we knew that 7am was the first exam, then he came in 30 minutes late, what the hell could we answer? Really. That was PHILOSOPHY. A lot of brain cells should be killed.

Good thing the IDs were given out that day. It lighten up our mood.

Thursday: 7-9 schedule. Trigonometry. *HEARTS*

Friday: PSYCHOLOGY & THEOLOGY.

I hate Psych. I love ma’am Agustin but I don’t like the test. I love her teaching skills but I can’t seem to understand the test. I really wish I don’t get a grade if 3.0.

ON THE OTHER HAND…

Theology, say hello to 20pts bonus. Ha-ha.

So first experienced was torture.

I found this somewhere in Facebook. I cried while reading this. They’ll be together in heaven for sure. And of course, they won’t be ever seperated again.

My Dearest Cory,

In a few hours I shall be embarking on an uncertain fate, which may well be the end of a long struggle. I slept well last night for the first time since I left Boston — maybe because I’m just plain tired or I’m really at peace with myself. I want to tell you many things but time is running out and I do not have any machine. After a few more paragraphs, my penmanship will be illegible.

All the things I want to tell you may be capsulized in one line – - I love you! You’ve stood by me in my most trying moments and there were times I was very hard on you. But if anyone will ever understand me, it is you, and I know you will always find it in your heart to forgive — and unfair and ironic as it is — it is because of this thought and belief that I often took you for granted.

Early on I knew I was not meant to make money — so I won’t be able to leave anything to the children. I did what I thought I could do best, which is public service, and I hope our people in time will appreciate my sacrifices. This would be my legacy to the children. I may not bequeath them material wealth but I leave them a tradition which can be priceless.

I realize I’ve been very stingy with praise and appreciation for all your efforts — but though unsaid — you know that as far I’m concerned, you are the best. That’s why we’ve lasted this long. There will only be one thing in the world I will never accept — that you love me more than I love you — because my love for you though unarticulated will never be equaled.

If all goes well I should be back in my cell before sundown. Should I be detained do not rush to get home. Take your time and enjoy a side trip to Europe with the girls.

I’ll try to call you tonight if the authorities will allow me. Otherwise just remember me in your dreams.

I woke-up one rainy Wednesday morning, sat and stared at the dark room. For a moment, I wasn’t able to process anything, then… BOOM! Hello, college. That day would be my first in the University of Santo Thomas, and it was raining. Oh, joy. I may already experience the flood they’re talking about, I told myself. That would be the day that I would step on a new floor, walk through a new corrigdor and see different people. It made me feel… sad. I grew up in St. Bridget. Loyalty awardee— 11 years.

First jeep ride early in the morning. 5:45AM, I checked my watch. A lot of time before classes starts. Nika and I were supposed to meet up in LRT, but with some misunderstanding, I was waiting at the entrance and she was waiting at the platform. We met around 6:15AM.

Am I going to be late for the first day?

Surprisingly, no. I just experienced riding in a pedicab while the rain was falling really hard. I was wet, I tell you. WET!

I arrived around 6:55AM. Joooy. 5 minutes. Wow.
Wait, I’m not yet done.
Check the reg. form. Room 44? Yes. Room 44. Fourth floor.
It was a tiring step step step journey.

Is it just me or the population of female students in that room was outnumbered by the opposite sex?

Wow. First day trauma.

That was about 2 months ago, I was really not comfortable with all the 4:30AM waking time. I needed some more rest, afterall, I am still a teenager. I was going through bizarre thoughts like, “What if maging dead kid ako?”. Funny as it is, it’s true. Weird. I. KNOW. RIGHT.

I feel it’s like years ago, but the funny thing is, I feel my high school life was more recent.

I miss high school. Halata naman, ‘di ba?

After weeks, I got to know most of my classmates— Clar, Rianne, Julius, Paolo, Renz, Wenny, Cedric and others. We had the traditional lunch together after class. (’cause our class ends around 12) Surprisingly, I adjusted easily. I was the vice president of our class, nominated by the president.

And wait, I have a guy classmate named Szanelle.
Cool, right?

So, I succeeded. Hello, blog. More stories! FRESHMAN WALK, especially.

I’ve missed this notepad, the blog and of course, sharing stuffs. I’ve been away for too long. I envy people who can still update their blog no matter how busy they are. I’ve moved from blog to blog and I decided to stay here, but sadly… I can’t even update this blog.

I was 12 when I fist had a blog. I promised myself I WOULDN’T STOP THINKING, TYPING AND SHARING.

I wanted to have a blog… a journal where I could look back and smile at my silly randomness way back then.

With this, I want to start again.

I want the old blogger back.

High School Taught ME More Life Lessons Than Actual Education

So True.

My HS years were the best part of my life, so far. During those days, I matured. I met my true friends. I’ve learn to cope up with big issues. But most of all, during those years, I learned how to be independent.

I’ll miss my school for eleven years: St. Bridget

I’ll miss my friends: Monica, Ciara, Keema, Cheska, Ordi, Ana, Claire, Inna, Aira, Kat, Ciaeli, Marc & Clara.

I’ll miss awesome people in that school: My barkada, lower batch friends, teachers and my class when I was a second year student.

I’ll miss the times when we could be with each other any moment. The times when we just want to be beside each other.

I’ll miss the “good morning”s of the people there.

I’ll miss everything about being a high school student.

Life goes on. I miss them now and I’m sure that I’ll even miss them even more in the future. We have different paths to walk on now. But I’m sure, no matter what happens, we’ll meet each other at some part of the long road we have. After all, the memories, the love and the friendship would never be forgotten.

Cheers to the four years.

Cheers to friendship.

Cheers to High School.
